I've made three more tin plate posters for Hachette's build-a-dalek magazine. First up is 'The Power of the Daleks'! I was aiming for a bit of a Frankenstein / B-movie vibe with this one. Rendered in #Blender3D

I want to give a massive shout-out to @portalrealm.bsky.social for sending over a detailed guide on how to 3d model the imperial shoulders! I've just blocked the Gunboxes in, and so far it looks better! I had to improvise on some of the steps but, I hope this looks okay

Sometimes when I do a render for a piece of work I enjoy the simplicity of the early stages, before everything else is added. This is the CG scene from my Hachette Genesis of the Daleks tin poster, before the rest of the comp was added. #Blender3D. Comped in Photoshop.

Made most of an Imperial Dalek from 1988 "Remembrance of the Daleks" in Blender on my laptop I've previously made one in Plasticity, but this time wanted to see how well it would go in Blender. The shoulder section is all one piece like the originals.

Made some more progress on the Imperial Dalek model, I've got the shoulders & the collars modelled. I'm going to work on the gunboxes, hopefully tomorrow. I forgot to mention this in my inital post but, HUGE kudos to @projectdalek.bsky.social for their tremendous plans & reference images!

'Haven't 3d modelled in a while. And wanted to get back into my comfort zone and 3d model some Daleks, this time it's the Imperial! I'm also using @mikefinleymusic.bsky.social 's tutorial series to help, better refine my Dalek 3d modelling. Huge thanks to Mike for bringing the tutorial back!

Anyway, I don't think I shared this on here but, I'm nearly finished on the Space Marine Helmet Course by @masterj2001.bsky.social ! All that's left to do is sculpting the little skull ornament, sculpting the battle damage and texturing! 'Can't thank his videos enough!!

Doctor Who on BBC iPlayer Film is Fabulous! are delighted to confirm the two episodes of ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan’, which were recovered from a private film collection, will be available on BBC iPlayer from 6am, on Friday 3rd April. This is earlier than previously suggested.

Used to watch Stephen McCullagh's channel (Votesaxon07) when I was younger. He was the first channel I watched that got me into Doctor Who and action figure collecting. I can't ever watch his videos the same way again. My sympathies goes to Natalie's family & friends. RIP Natalie.

'Not really surprised that Netflix cancelled Terminator: Zero. They are notorious for cancelling shows. If anyone's wondering this is my personal headcanon for the Terminator franchise: T1, T2 & Terminator Resistance.
