Cuban Americans in power don’t yet realize that Cubans are the primary victims of third-country removal. Hell, a certain Cuban American former senator is rubber-stamping it! They might think their proximity to whiteness will protect them from this white supremacist government. It will not.

The NYPD just released surveillance video of the ICE shooting (which occurred off camera). Two men in civilian clothes run up to a car with guns drawn. One second later, one man begins smashing the butt of his gun into the driver’s side window. The driver appears to panic and hit the gas.

I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.
