During my PhD, I met so many colleagues who only read papers for journal clubs or when their PI demanded it. Reading the literature is a must for PhDs. It keeps you sharp, sparks ideas, builds critical thinking, and once it’s a habit, it’s even fun. Young scientists: READ!
