Xie Lian’s father is getting more and more insistent that he finds a wife. His mother is getting anxious over how many unsuccessful blind dates he goes on, matching him with someone new almost every weekend. XL can’t really describe why he’s so disinterested, he just likes his routine and his cat–

a digital colored sketch of Hua Cheng and Xie Lian making out on a couch. Xie Lian is straddling Hua Cheng and has both hands tangled in his hair to pull him closer. Hua Cheng is propping himself up with one arm and resting the other on Xie Lian's ass. a line of drool is running down Hua Cheng's chin. Xie Lian's hair is up in a bun so we can all better appreciate his back and arms.

there's a store right by my work that sells bags of ice...my work water cooler dispenses cool water, but it'll go room temp even in my special cups to keep stuff cold...what if for my birthday i bought myself a little cooler to put ice in so i could have cold drinks all day throughout the week?

kuroo and kenma both have hall passes and they both are totally accepting of that! they know that if hinata ever offers, kenma can do whatever he wants if he wants to. they know that if daichi (and that's a strong if) ever gave kuroo a chance he would go running and tell kenma everything after

a mom i used to babysit for reached out to me to ask me to tutor her son. i knew i was going to say yes, but asked what he needes help with since he's very young. she says his teacher says he's shutting down during math and both her and mom are concerned for him. obviously i said i'd tutor him.

i know it's cannon that kuroo and bokuto did a kids vball thing, but i think kuroo is a kids coach after work. he teaches them about the game and gets them to love it almost as much as he does. bokuto and kenma fight to be the bigger sponsor (to which bo quickly gives up and sponsors another team)

msby4 all have different areas of the weight room where they are consisently better than the others. bokuto can out bench them by a fair margin, atsumu has the heaviest squat, omi is way more flexible than anyone by miles, and shoyo has the best core strength and easily the best balance.

These illustrations make me so emotional. Their individual growth along with all the support and influences over their lives gets me choked up. These are such beautiful illustrations by Furudate-sensei that give a glimpse into their minds. +

Kagayama-centric illustration that shows the stages of his life from a baby wrapped around a volleyball, as a young kid holding a volleyball, the next in his middle school uniform, going to toss the ball up, his Karasuno age/uniform of him starting to jump, his pro league age with his Schweiden uniform of him lifting off the ground, and last his Ali Roma uniform completely jumping in the air. The progression is very dynamic across the page from left to right.

Behind Kageyama is a mosaic of panels of people important in his life and influence in his journey. Panels of Hinata boarder it on the left and right. On the left is a panel of Hinata from their middle school match, a front view of his face as he's jumping to spike. On the right is Hinata in his Black Jackals uniform, landing from a spike - we only see his back.

Other panels included are images of: Kindaichi and Kunimi from middle school, Tanaka, Asahi, Tsukki, Daichi, and Noya bunched together. Yachi teaching him, Saeko in front of her van, Yamaguchi tossing a server. Larger panels of Ukai, Takeda, Hibarida and Hitaki. A panel that spans the whole vertical section behind his pro leaps features his grandfather Kazuyo. There are then panels of setters: Oikawa and Suga being the largest, then Atsumu, then a smaller trio of Kenma, Kogane, and Akaashi.

Like Kageyama's, this illustration shows the stages of Hinata's life but reversed from right to left and is likewise bracketed by panels of Kageyama. The main illustrations of Hinata show him as a child, then in middle school, then Karasuno, "Ninja Shoyo"/Brazil/Beach volleyball, Black Jackals, and finally in his São Paulo uniform. His kid version is just him looking up at and then progressing into a great leap.

The rightmost panel is Kageyama from after their middle school match, of his soon-to-be-rival yelling at him outside. The left most image is Kageyama in the Olympics on a TV.

The panels we see behind him are: Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Shimizu, Tanaka, Noya, Yachi, Yamaguchi, and Tsukishima - all from important moments throughout the story. Slightly larger, we have a panels of Kenma, Bokuto, and Ushijima. More smaller panels of Aone, Hiragumi and Hoshiumi, and Atsumu.

The largest/longest panel is of the back of Karasuno's former number 10 and former Little Giant leaping through the air - the first image that Hinata saw that made him want to play volleyball.

Next are large panels of Takeda, both Ukais, Washijo, and his Brazil group. Lastly, before Kageyama, is the panel of Oikawa sharing a meal with him in Brazil.

Colored sketch of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng from Heaven Official's Blessing. They're embracing, foreheads touching, and Xie Lian's chin is resting on Hua Cheng's right pointer finger as Hua Cheng's thumb strokes his cheek. (Exact same thing as the drawing in the qrp, but I added effect layers so there's ***color*** now.)
