it's my birthday and i made myself a matcha with my matcha powder from japan, a chai with the concentrate from seattle,my friend bought me a matcha, my other friend made me brownies, and i also made cupcakes... it's barely 10am but I've had so much sugar lol. I'm having a blast

anyways, sorry for the rant 🙃

I'm not in it for the money (lord knows i could use it and that i deserve a lot more than I'm paid at work). i want to help these kids grow and get better and money can be a huge barrier! if i can help kids and make a little extra then that's what i'll do.

i told her and she got really mad at me saying I'm not respecting myself! and it's not that i know i could charge WAY more and it could be justified (2 teaching credentials, private one on one tutor, me supplying all materials,etc), but that's not why i teach who i teach.

i said $50 weekly. i know that's selling me real short, that my school district pays me near that hourly for my job, but it feels wrong charging individual people that much! i was telling my mom how I'll start next week and all that, and she immediately asks how much I'd be getting paid.

that's literally my job! he's in one of my grade levels i currently work with, he is showing behaviors similar to students i work with every day, i already know the kid and family, and they live 5 minutes from me! the mom asked how much it would cost for 2 days a week, for maybe 30 min to an hour.

a mom i used to babysit for reached out to me to ask me to tutor her son. i knew i was going to say yes, but asked what he needes help with since he's very young. she says his teacher says he's shutting down during math and both her and mom are concerned for him. obviously i said i'd tutor him.

their team ending up be the next gen fukurodani/nekoma would be hilarious! little mini bokutos and kuroos driving their schools wild! and if they did have kids they'd drive them crazy asking to play with uncle's team and they end up switching and their kids end up preferring the other team lol

when he retires bo starts coaching his own team and spoils then rotten. he also makes his team play kuroo's often so they can compete via their children

i know it's cannon that kuroo and bokuto did a kids vball thing, but i think kuroo is a kids coach after work. he teaches them about the game and gets them to love it almost as much as he does. bokuto and kenma fight to be the bigger sponsor (to which bo quickly gives up and sponsors another team)

lol they have a challenge day and the rest of the team is actively betting on them.

this doesn't stop them from trying to beat each othet every time, in fact it makes them work harder.

msby4 all have different areas of the weight room where they are consisently better than the others. bokuto can out bench them by a fair margin, atsumu has the heaviest squat, omi is way more flexible than anyone by miles, and shoyo has the best core strength and easily the best balance.
