The Haunted Landscape 2026: Magic, Fairies and Old Gods Saturday 21 November 2026 10 am - 5 pm Francis Young - A History of European Fairy Traditions @drfrancisyoung.bsky.social Lesser known fairies of Europe Details and tickets forteanlondon.blogspot.com/2026/07/the-... 6/9

Francis Young resembles a hobbit-lawyer in this image. A friendly face, with thick dark hair, bear and eyes, considering something seriously. He is in a yellow bricked room, rather like a police cell, and is dressed in an immaculate sky blue shirt and a softer, dark tan waistcoat in some softer material.
This is who you would want to come and see you if you find yourself in Hobbit prison after some unfortunate firework or dwarf home-invasion incident.

Here a classic looking cover that is beautiful in it's simplicity. 'Fairies' at the top, 'Francis Young' at the bottom in some long font with a lazy but elegant serif to it. In the centre is a green circle showing a verdent wood where a nuch small 'A History' is centred.

Regardless of how good the next Mummy movie ends up being, I’m hoping they break the trend with other legacy sequels and gift Rick and Evelyn a happy life. Those two deserved one.
