I've seen some people say the reason this movie didn't have a higher opening was it wasn't appealing enough. Maybe it is just me, but I think a zippy animated comedy about two friends who are transported to a world full of fantastical creatures is immensely appealing.

Since Toy Story 5 is now on Disney+ and physical media, I checked in on this petition. A few day ago, they posted an update still asking for the title to be changed on Disney+ as well as for it to be rebranded on future reprintings of the Blu-Ray/DVD.

It is so irresponsible of A24 to put flashing lights in a trailer. Someone photosensitive could watch this without warning in front of another movie. I genuinely don't understand why the Pokemon incident didn't lead to greater scrutiny (outside of Japan) towards flashing and strobe lights in media.

sometimes you want a horror movie to be serious and disturbing, and sometimes you want it to be a big, gory funhouse. that's what the new Resident Evil is: an insane, intense, funhouse that never slows down. one of the year's best horror movies, and it's been a great year for those.

I haven't seen this documentary, so I don't have an opinion on it, but regardless, I will always be opposed to any government doing this to their citizens for making a film they don't like. I guess Netanyahu also doesn't realise this will entice more people to see it.

I feel the most fitting way to describe the new #ResidentEvil movie is what would happen if Buster Keaton made a horror movie. Zach Cregger nails that mix of comedy with thrills. One oddity: Even though the opening logo is Columbia Pictures, the first title card says "TriStar Pictures Presents."

Skydance and Netflix ending their animation deal was probably inevitable after their fighting over Warner Bros. With "Cosmic Motors" being John Lasseter's first directing effort since "Cars 2", we will see how pivotal his collaborators were to his earlier successes.
