I propose a new rule: Universities and campus police departments are no longer allowed to handle serious crimes. Rapes, assaults, etc. must involve the state and local authorities and no gag orders are authorized. No more covering shit up.

I got to talk to my 95yo grandfather today. He asked me “are you still as pretty as you always were, or don’t you have time to take care of yourself?” No, Pops, no, I don’t have time to take care of myself. I said, “well,I get a lot of exercise and spend a lot of time outdoors, and I’m happy.”

What this test proved is I have a bright kid who now knows he is smart enough to bullshit his way through meaningless standardized tests. He protested the entire time,pretended he didn’t know anything and still scored above the goal range.

Almond pollination is far and away the most profitable beekeeping activity. When I attended the California Beekeepers Association conference everyone was giving out samples of almonds, not honey. It's a huge business. And the bees suffer. A lot. Tell your vegan friends: Don't buy almond milk.

I was inspired to volunteer with Dave Upthegrove's campaign because I thought he was going to protect legacy forests. I was motivated to run for public office myself when Dave betrayed all the other Washingtonians who voted and volunteered for him.
