This is why men can't be surprised when women don't trust men. Yes, most men don't rape. But we've seen too many times that men will hear a guy share a horrid rape story, think "wow that's awful" and proceed to do absolutely nothing with the information.

I think about this often. Whole families have relatives that just moved and never wrote, and no one thought it was peculiar, just a fact of life. My mother left home when she was 18 and never looked back, the world has long been full of these stories because abuse has always existed.

Great thread about this story. I haven't really been able to find the right words to talk about this horrid story. A story in which the killer often told people in podcasts that he was a misogynist and a sociopath. His photography was displayed locally, featured in published in collections.

It's like saying Luke is overshadowed by Vader, or Obi-wan is overshadowed by Anakin. Rey and Ben are the emotional ❤️ of the sequel trilogy just as the other pairs are the emotional hearts of their respective trilogies. Rey is not overshadowed by having a relationship story.
