It feels like attempt 3, because I remember picking them up in the store before the show came out and really went back and forth on trying them and put them back. Biiiiiiig regret once watching the show.

Using one of my dad’s favorite mugs this morning because I miss him extra today ❤️

A mug with a very rounded oval shape. It’s black with a red inside lining, and features Darth Vader.

Treated myself to my very first American Girl doll, at the big age of 30, and look how beautiful she is!! She came in a very well loved state, and had had a day at the doll spa ❤️

The listing photo. Came with a hardback book and is a Pleasant Company stamped doll. Between those and the price, I went for the purchase!

The finish clean Josefina. I boiled her hair in water and little fabric softner, which I also let just a little sit in her hair for a bit. Then brushed out with a wig brush. Shes missing part of her meet outfit, but I hope to finish it!

Anyone have one Josefina shoe? lol

I think everyone should see this incredible picture of Dolly Parton: it’s by Stacie Williams (asterosperma on Instagram) and it’s called The Queen of Appalachia

A stunning screenprint image in a style which is part folk art, part religious icon. Dolly Parton sits on a throne-like wooden chair, surrounded by garlands of flowers and leaves. Orange butterflies (I think they are monarchs?) hover around her head. Her hair is huge and golden, and she is wearing a long, sweeping orange gown, which is turned up over her knee to show off her brown knee length high heeled boots. Two black bear cubs play around her, one on the floor and one in her lap. Dolly stares calmly at the viewer. Her right hand is raised in benediction, and in her left she holds a ripe strawberry which she is feeding to one of the bear cubs.
