In a good news story, Plan Change 99 passed! This plan change *upzones* the site of the proposed “bedroom commuter” apartments in Beach Haven, to enable three storey development and provide a new pathway forward for ~81(!!!) new homes close to frequent buses + local amenities🔥

Some advice I'd give on parking policy, drawing on NZ's experience: The main argument for removing MPRs relates to *land use* (e.g. housing affordability) not *transport* (e.g. congestion or public transit). Once you realize this, then you realize that we can & should remove MPRs *everywhere*.
