A couple weeks ago I heard a joyful shriek from across the street. My neighbor kids, who I planted milkweed for, found 2 monarch caterpillars by their stoop. This week, those monarchs hatched. Our block is fully concrete, .3 miles to the closest green space. But we’re supporting the life cycle 🥰

I'm sorry, sleep can be so hard with small kids sometimes. I can't imagine doing it alone, and it can feel so isolating not having others around to relate. I know it's probably not that helpful but I usually remind myself a difficult sleep stretch will pass eventually. I hope you can find some rest

I like them for another perspective. I read one by a gay man who grew up as a Jehovah Witness. My mom grew up in that religion and does not like organized religion at all, so it was a way to understand some of it for me. I had only ever heard my grandma's positive biases of it.

Hummingbirds.

My youngest is 2 years old and the most I'll do is a 2 hour drive with my kids. The thought of trying to do a plane ride with them fills me with anxiety lol. I don't know how other parents travel with small babies, everything is already hard with small babies.

I love how kids tell a joke, my 6 year old told me a knock knock joke: "knock knock" "who's there?" "Lettuce" "lettuce who?" "It's cold outside!" He missed the "lettuce in" part which honestly made it funnier for me
