Also getting my pride deck ready with these two. This is going to be so fun. They should have just been printed with partner to start with TBH.

Oh gosh it has been a while since I posted last. Just ran through a few games of commander this weekend with some new deck, and all Elemental Omnath Locus of All, The Warrior of Light which is heroes from every Final Fantasy and Nekusar the Mindraiser. All fun and all absolutely ripped.

Niv-Mizzet Guildpact got it's first real game tonight and it performed far beyond my expectations. The plan is to run it more but if it keeps doing what it did tonight I'm not sure how much I will need to tweak it.

I am not super excited about TMNT outside of the commander, but if you are stoked I am happy for you and I hope this set delivers what you are looking for. For the new people who come to check out the game because they love TMNT, I hope you fall in love with it like I did through Final Fantasy.

In the process of finishing up Niv Mizzet, Guildpact and Infinite Guildline Station. I do love me some five color commanders. For Niv I have 3 creatures from each guild in the deck so hopefully I have as many of the pairs as I can on the board. Also all the gates.

As much as I clunked in two games last night I did win 2 of 4. My Emmet Selch Unsindered deck, fueled by a mill deck, took game one in a close one. A clutch rise of the darkrealms got me an infinite combo from someones yard and a made a million creatures with haste.

Played a game where one player cheated out Sheoldred the Whispering One, and another player cheated out Artisan Of Kosilek and a Jin-Gitaxias Core Augur pretty early and my response was scoop at instant speed because that game was done for everyone but them.

The games me and wife played tonight really highlight that this qoute I heard somewhere is very true. "There are two types of magic players, 1) Wants to have fun playing their deck. 2) Wants everyone to have fun playing their deck." Me and my wife fall into the 2nd, our opponents into the 1st.

Can't wait to get hit by a Biorythm early in a game because 8 mana ain't shit to green and people are garbage about talking about their decks in pick up games. Also, I am the queen of scooping out of games that are unfun because of one person at a table.

Took my Y'shtola deck for the first time in a while and absolutly wrecked the table with her. All without ever swinging a creature. Also won a game with my updated Ashling deck, Champon of the path and Twin Flame Travelers made for a deadly combo where the table died to two evoked elementals.

I snagged the $10 Secret Lair drop today. I might have been convinced to grab them at $20 but that would have been a harder sell and I probably would have passed. If you were wondering though if real people did get it at the lowest price point, yup because I got one.
