#1 I’m an Atlantic subscriber & love you. #2 just read this piece with one eyebrow raised. 2 articles down from this is an AI narrated audio version of the story. As an audiobook narrator who has offered to read news stories for Atlantic’s for less than AI costs find it a little disingenuous

Sticker shock Per the Center For American Progress a $7,848.75 increase per the 25% tariffs. What if every company in America, Canada etc used BTT and ATT price stickers.

If you’re looking for something more positive and proactive to do…. Call and encourage all companies to post BTT and ATT (before trump tariff & After Trump Tarriff) price tags. #resistance @mcuban.bsky.social @billgatess.bsky.social @benandjerrys.bsky.social @deltaairline.bsky.social

As the sun faded in the west this evening I couldn’t help but wonder if such is the fate of the TN GOP and the corruption surrounding the voucher scam and other such shenanigans.

Looking forward to the Coachella expert critic immunization shot in development. Good news is anyone over 49 has natural immunity and rendered incapable of opinion.

Mike Lacy speaks at Metro Nashville City Counsel addressing “guardrails” for FUSUS surveillance that were Approved allegedly ensuring FUSUS is safe from being abused by federal and state entities. Lacy says: “guardrails are nice but they’re like bringing good vibes to a gun fight”.

Nashville friends this is yet another reason (of many) that FUSUS surveillance should be tabled. In addition to all the technical vagaries and unanswered questions. In addition to all other immigrants, Ukrainians who were given refugee status will be hunted by ICE Ukrainians that’s we welcomed

It might be a lot easier if we could just pretend that robots haven’t invaded DC and are ransacking the white house. Then we could just all go golfing, talk about investment strategy and plan our next cruise.. Oh wait I don’t do any of those things. Thank God for Canada, Mexico & EU

When you ask people what’s going on in their lives day to day somehow they never mention ‘the border’ or immigrants or trans folk etc. They talk about the things that really matter to them and their families . That’s why they are so rarely asked.

Nashville This triumvirate were mentors to many during times of great tumult and strife. For those lucky to be in their sphere of influence, we still feel & hear the wisdom they embodied and the conviction with which they spoke. This is NOT the time to ‘comply’. NO FUSUS surveillance
