Mick O'Farrell @mof1916.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I knew I was late to this, but I'm far later than I thought. All 4 seahorse lamps were there in this mid-1950s photo, but when Charles Cushman took his pic in 1961, there were just 2 lamps. So we've narrowed the "time of disappearance" to just under 10 years! I'll keep digging... 000
Mick O'Farrell @mof1916.bsky.social · 26/09/2026College Green - seahorse lantern mystery? I know I'm really, really, late to this one, because they've already been gone for a long time, but there used to be 4 seahorse lanterns surrounding Grattan's statue. Does anyone know where the other 2 ended up? 000

Mick O'Farrell @mof1916.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I collect publications related to the 1916 Easter Rising. So ...
