6 Nations of Grand River letterhead. COMMUNITY NOTICE INCREASED BORDER PATROLS for immediate release: Feb 5th '25. Oshweken, ON - On Jan 25th '25 Cheif Sherri-Lyn Hill received notice from the RCMP that there will be increased border patrols. These patrols will be based on both land and air.

A black hawk helicopter with RCMP logos will be used for air patrols. If you see this helicopter, it does NOT mean a specific threat, or danger exists in the area.

These additional measures are a commitment to serving and protecting everyone and securing the borders from inbound and outbound criminal threats between Can and the USA.
