I hate fluff so that doesn't bother me 😂 I just keep bouncing off the beginning because I am apparently not in the correct mood to watch it yet

The Transporter because nothing cures a stressful day like copious amounts of fight scenes

I still haven't seen that one. I feel like I always miss the really obvious ones in any genre Someday tho

It's one of my most recommended movies for sure. I don't even like zombie things that much because they usually feel quite mean spirited but #Alive felt very... hopeful?

Mixeduppainter @mixeduppainter.bsky.social · 17h

Ahhhhhhh I just actually READ the list and comprehended it and realized #Alive was there. Now I'm kinda tempted to do my own rewatch

thinking about when guillermo del toro said "since childhood, i've been faithful to monsters. i've been saved and absolved by them, because monsters are the patron saints of our blissful imperfections.”

Oh ho 🤔 I just looked really quick because my brain is fried but I probably just missed it then I just think it would be a really good size for the agoraphobic vampire novella

What Cage has done for literally the past decade is exactly this, he finds a weird eccentric script by a first time filmmaker, signs on, his name brings in clout, he makes the film, and sometimes it's not very good. But it's still artistic as hell. This is why I *love* Cage.

Sadly no. Just regular ole people this time. It's gonna be so weird

Captain Picard proclaims novellas as his favorite type of book on the bridge of the Enterprise-D.

In the background, Riker can't help but laugh. He thinks novelettes is where it's at.

Meanwhile, Worf is not amused that both disregard the combat potential of full novels.

There's been a fascinating uptick in popular horror afraid of being offensive and I mean that as I put it; they'll be gross, they'll shock, they'll even touch on the uncomfortable but they won't explore it. They won't go too deep because it might offend. Even remakes sand down old sharp edges.
