I was living in Alicante, Spain, on September 11, 2001. I had just sat down for dinner when the news came on. I watched the second plane hit and knew the world was changing before my eyes. A few friends gathered and we were glued to CNN, watching the horror unfold. Unbelievable day. Tragic.

Last night, at National Night Out, I learned that I am now living on the same block that Alex Pretti lived on. We rode the same bike, we cared for our community, and we could have been friends/neighbors. He made the ultimate sacrifice in a situation turned deadly by ICE tactics. Fuck ICE! RIPower!

Found this beauty on site today! 🤩 Always fun to stumble across a cool Lake Superior agate when I’m not even hunting them. Now I want to go agate hunting and not work.

I volunteered at #EauxClaires the first 3 years, had an absolute blast seeing amazing artists while camping in the woods and meeting amazing people. I’m ecstatic to hear it was back this year. Wish I could have gone, but was moving. How was it?! Anyone go?
