My friend and her kids called around this morning. They had been in charge of cat sitting the past few years before Nina crossed the rainbow bridge. The drawings 💗 🥹

It has been a rough week. The Nina (16 year old cat) has had multiple tests with the vet. It turns out that her kidneys are the culprit. She’s been put on medication to slow the decline, but there is no cure. Having all the feels 💔.

At the start of this year we paid a visit to Orokonui (bird sanctuary near Dunedin). It exceeded my expectations. If you’re ever down that way it’s a great day out for all ages.

Is anyone else having issues with the TVNZ+ app? Specifically audio descriptions are on by with default and do not turn off (even when toggled in the app) - but this is only an issue when Chromecasting.

People in relationships who are not married, how do you refer to your significant other? The BF and I aren’t married, partner makes me want to throw up and boyfriend/girlfriend sounds like we are in high school and just met. We haven’t found a term we’re happy with that feel like it describes us.

Creative types. The BF and I are planning to explore art as shared ‘third thing’ we can do together. So far we have played with Fimo sculptures. He is apprehensive about painting because he doesn’t feel like he has the skills to make it look good. What’s a good fun exercise for novice painters?
