I bought a handmade sweater dress from the SPCA shop. It kind of looks like a hospital gown (teal and mid calf length). It is so comfy though and pockets!

I did a Teacher’s College placement at my old high school and then worked there early in my teaching career. It took me a very long time to be able to call my art teacher by his first name.

Are you with Westpac? Their banking app is terrible for the way it displays transactions. Transfers to credit card never show up instantly. It’s the main thing I miss from my previous bank, which had average service but a pretty slick online banking system.

When I was most recently in Australia, we stumbled upon a restaurant chain called Okami. All you can eat within two hours, a charge for having a substantial amount of left overs (I think it was $15 for over 200g uneaten). We ate extremely well that night.

It has been a rough week. The Nina (16 year old cat) has had multiple tests with the vet. It turns out that her kidneys are the culprit. She’s been put on medication to slow the decline, but there is no cure. Having all the feels 💔.

I’m feeling this. Grateful to past me for who slow roasted pumpkin and kumara yesterday and made a delightful roast vege/ginger/coconut cream soup. That is happiness in a bowl.

Said soup. In a large white japanese style bowl (with a sakura style pattern in grey glaze). Pumpkin, Kumara, ginger and coconut soup has a few drops of olive oil on top. The result delicious.
