Just missed the small window of good seeing tonight, but happy with the result anyway. Besides looking at the rings in IR, I also tested a new photometric UV filter. Must say Saturn looks very ghostly from 400nm to 320nm! Will be good for spooky season outreach! 🎃

Since there was a request to drop cool neutron star facts, here's mine! While exoplanet discovery feels common place now, the VERY first discovery of an exoplanet was actually around a neutron star back in 1990 (confirmed in 1992) using the famous Arecibo radio telescope! #NeutronStarWeek
