ICE says it arrested 10,000 "criminal illegal aliens" in MN but it has only released 240 names of immigrants arrested as of Jan. 19. Of those 240, 80% have felony convictions. Nearly all had served their time and were not actively wanted when they were detained, according to a Star Tribune analysis.

USL talks a big game but seems destined to fail because it isn't substantively professional. Expanding too quickly, not vetting the financial stability of prospective teams, and forgetting that the players are professionals without which the league does not exist to revolutionize soccer in America

It's in USL's best interests to cave in here. The longer this continues, the more the public who may or may not have a strong opinion on USL look at the league as yet another house of cards in sports, like the USFL or NASL back in the day. Can't have growth without investment.
