Know a notebook, laptop, or bathroom stall that could use a good zhuzhing? (It’s not vandalism if it’s ✨aesthetic✨) We’ve got just the thing: merch.ellipsus.com 50% of proceeds this month will go to @trevorproject.bsky.social, @aclu.org, and @translifeline.org. 🌈

It’s interesting to read first novels to get a ✨glimpse✨of how far legends have come. This one has… y’all quite a number of no-no’s that King has posted in his memoir not to do but what amazes me about it, as I read through this, the HEART behind the story is still, truly, King. That’s fucking cool.

Been gone a while to recover from surgery!! An aggressive autoimmune condition took all my hearing on my left side and we put in a cochlear implant so I can hear again. Still dealing with pain and pressure, but i’m looking forward to a new chapter 💕

After three weeks of mourning my ability to do right by my manuscript, it feels good to finally open it again. It feels even better to cut 4500 words from early chapters with revisions. Hellbook now has a sharper blade ✨

I am so excited for my friend @dianawallachauthor.bsky.social, and her upcoming book, THE SILENCED! THE SILENCED imagines what would happen if the girls who died in their Troubled Teen program haunt their abandoned “school” to get revenge.

NINTH HOUSE x THE ATLAS SIX Aster would do anything to be the best writer the world has seen— even if it means spilling her blood to commune with the greats that came before her. #Q #A #F #H #P2Ppit

A Victorian house, a dark forest, a woman with a mirror for a face, a fawn, moths with flowers, a university gate, words on a page, and a university library

[BLACK SWAN X BUNNY X HILL HOUSE] If Eden wants the solo, she just has to survive the freak accidents that keep killing the other ballerinas, a ill-fated attraction to her idol, and her chronic illness. Oh, and the haunted house she brought to life. Oops. #P2Ppit #A #H #Q

a 3X3 moodboard: a close up sultry shot of a face; ballerinas in white dresses; a greenhouse; a half-frozen lake; a quote "elegance is more important than suffering"; a distorted picture of a flooded room; a gothic-esque hallway; a ballerina sitting on stairs in a white costume; a pale girl with dark hair.

DIVINE RIVALS x POWERLESS A Saint is killed, triggering a set of deadly magic trials. Pia didn’t expect to be chosen for the competition, but is determined to win—and especially determined to beat her infuriatingly beautiful rival, Joanna #P2Pit #AgentedWriter #OS #F #editors

a collage style moodboard with: a red-haired woman (olivia cooke) in medieval clothing and a crown of stars, an altar, a quote saying ‘win because you don’t know how to lose’, a dagger, a quote reading ‘i will carve my way out with only my teeth’, hands holding a rosary, candles, two women almost kissing. the quote at the centre reads ‘let the games begin’

I LOVE THEM TOO - they go after my own heart. ❤️ I pulled Emily Dickinson today and it’s basically “write what you want/how you feel… just vibe”

We visited Hemingway’s house. I’m not even a fan of his work, but he’s a spectacle, so why not? His writing room was separate from the main house, only accessible from his bedroom balcony. His own little refuge where he lost track of time. Yep that’s a real cat sleeping on his chair.

2024 was a year of big goals and hopefuls. I can say I managed to complete two short stories (which!! is a big deal!!! for submission!!), illness stole everything else. And that’s okay. Some years are not “good” writing years, but a year taking care is a good year spent. #writingcommunity

Part of my writing healing journey has a lot to do with learning to compliment my own work. This has been the hardest for me. What if I’m delusional? What if I like something I’m doing that someone else thinks I’m crazy to think it was good?
