What’s your favorite shark species? Mine is definitely the blacktip reef shark. It’s not the most interesting or special looking one out there but I somehow really like them.

i want to make so much more art this year 😤 for now, here’s technically my first art of the year, a collage i did at a queer event where they had vision board crafting i just slapped anything on that spoke to me, lol

a colorful collage made of magazine clippings, it features photos of the moon, nature, animals, female sesame street puppets, and marsha p johnson. quotes included are “real joy”, “a gender-equal world is healthier, wealthier, more productive, and more peaceful.”, “magical moonlight”, “treat people with kindness”, and a third century Chinese poem about the moon (Tzu-yeh)

I just can’t help thinking how absurdly dystopian it is that I worked myself so hard I ended up in the hospital for several days, unable to move only to get an automated message of feigned concern from a machine, asking when I’ll be coming back to work can’t we just be human to each other? 😂

it’s been enough time that I can look back and laugh, and if i hadn’t become too sick and disabled to do that job (which I loved!) I probably would have just laughed it off and moved on.

my body really did pick the worst time to become disabled in america i try to be positive and do what i can but god it sucks just. not being able to walk/use my hands/think some days and just hope it’ll be better tomorrow while my partner works their ass off so we can survive idk, i’m just scared :/
