One of PAC's last official acts as a WWE employee was ruthlessly roasting his then-latest t-shirt, an absolutely lazy effort in graphic design. Days later, he quits WWE. In retrospect, insisting he deserved better is the perfect summation of PAC's time in that company.

By fall 2014, NXT became so undeniable, they showcased the main event for the upcoming Takeover 2 show on RAW. Decent enough match, until PAC (as Adrian Neville) tagged in. No one on the main roster wrestled like he did. Hell, few wrestlers in North America in 2014 wrestled like he did.

The joke fans on twitter made at the time was, not only did he show up in full gear, he showed up with wet hair, so it was wondered whether he swam across the Atlantic to confront Hangman. This was the first time Pac's permanent state of Damp-ness was noticed.
