On twt there was a video of a guy blabbing about how this is "how the game works" and thus not cheating, and also that people in his PF who jumped off the arena and quit the party upon seeing him hacking were violating the ToS for griefing and should be reported. Was wild

A sweet polite little lady named Harumaki who definitely won't grow up to destroy enough furniture (and an air conditioner) that she gets the nickname "Goddess of Destruction" (Photos from Roko_mm on Instagram, taken in 2017)

It just looks like the cheater running around the boss in circles to make it spin, and it follows them forever instead of doing any attacks/mechanics. From what ppl said, the plugin also messes with packet traffic to prioritize player movement over boss actions somehow, so it's not doable vanilla

Mint Alquior @minttobe.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Also that’s delaying it by a second, not just. The entire fight/phase becoming a striking dummy with no mechanics whatsoever!

Go on twitter for 1 second and find that FFXIV cheaters have made a plugin to manipulate packets and spin the boss around frame perfect or some shit, so bosses get stuck spinning forever and do no mechanics. Since it’s twitter people were trying to argue this isn’t cheating somehow. i closed twitter

The biggest thing lately was I finally got sick of my old threadbare socks with holes in them and I got new socks. They're very nice and comfy.

I think this woman is an AI bot. These accounts that do nothing but RT and reply to exclusively top viral/political posts are really suspect. Also the article and picture that started this thread were AI-generated

010

Mint Alquior @minttobe.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Look, the overall sentiment is correct even with her AI-generating it. But don't say that AI slop is "beautifully written," that you're crying all over the place, that she's a "gifted writer" for generating it, and that she should "write" books. Please tell that to real writers, they need it!

Mint Alquior @minttobe.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

This hullabaloo about a crowd cam sounds ridiculous, great people are realizing that. But... this is AI. "It's not X, it's Y," and Rule of Three phrases every 2 sentences... pic has Bank of "Maerica," the lady's jacket zipper bending into nothing... Alarming that ppl are like "beautifully written 😭"

Mint Alquior @minttobe.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Oh yeah that writing is littered with AI hallmarks and with the image being AI-generated I'm not inclined to think it's a coincidence. I don't doubt the lady wanted to defend her husband, but it's really sad to see people weeping and crying in the comments over what a "fantastic writer" she is
