ICC judge Navi Pillay worked on human rights violations in Rwanda and Myanmar, and more recently chaired the UN Commission that concluded Israel committed genocide in Gaza. She received the news while in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, and joked about sharing the prize with Trump.

The breast cancer center appealed thousands of Blue Cross reimbursements for being too low. At trial, the insurer revealed that it had never considered any of the appeals — and that they were pointless: “An appeal is not available to review an underpayment.” (Published April 2025)

We need just one more member of Congress to call for a vote on the Dream and Promise Act — 217 of them have already done so. If passed, this legislation would provide a pathway to citizenship that Dreamers have been fighting for since 2012. Demand action to protect our communities from ICE.

l've been a SA advocate for decades:
NEVER go to campus resources for a SA. Call a rape care hotline/program (off campus), get a SA advocate (they're free), go to a SART hospital for care (and evidence collection if you choose).
They activate the police. Schools have NO business in this process and will minimize and bury it. It's a criminal matter, not an administrative matter.
Period. No exceptions.

My husband died abruptly when I was 53, awaiting brain surgery; we lost our insurance 10 days later. I age into Medicare in April. My life has been contoured around remaining insured.

Tribute-style portrait of a Dolly Parton performing in a ruffled light purple blouse, arm raised and singing into a microphone, overlaid with the lyric: "You're just a step on the bossman's ladder / But you've got dreams he'll never take away."
