We saw them in the lodgepole pine forest around Toulumne Meadows campground. I hearby name them Grays Flying Micro Puffball. 111

Gray @mindpoison.org · 20/07/2026We got up at 5am, drove 90 minutes to Castle Crags State Park, near Dunsmir, California. Hiked the Castle Dome trail, thru some of the Crags. Hardest hike S and I have made together. 6 miles round trip, 2080 feet of elevation gain. Confident in tackling the Mist Trail when in Yosemite in September. 021
