It’s almost impressive how little the aesthetic of Harry Potter has evolved in the 25 years since the first movie. The costuming, the art direction, the design of (most) of the characters look and feel exactly the same as 2001. This only adds more fuel to the “…why?”-ness of the HBO series remake.

Absolutely believe the hype around Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It feels like a great piece of literature in the form of a video game, the kind of once-in-a-generation single-player experience that raises an already-impossibly high bar for the complexity and depth of stories this medium can tell.
