I've never watched a show that did this. You can make The Wire Season 5 and it's not going to harm my appreciation of The Wire Season 4. I feel a lot of people are just waiting to dislike art, and the outsize reactions to "bad" final seasons are a collective performance.

Good solve for this problem is to keep a copy of your original sketch nearby to refer back to while you are tying things down. A glance is often enough to tell you if you've drifted away from your original intent

All the more impressive for this being a guy you mostly see only in the first and last hour of the game. But you know what he represents to Coen, you know their history, you know the many ways he failed him. Unless you missed those quests, in which case you don't. It's kind of a thing of beauty.

It's not that the line is such an incredible thing on its own, but placed in the context of the story to that point it felt monumental. Maybe I'm just a sucker for stories about emotionally stunted men earnestly trying and falling short of expressing love. Either way, it got me good.

Late game in an optional interaction with Coen's father, if you press him about his emotional distance he replies: "I've learned to walk with my limp. It's slow and painful but I manage to get by." It's a tiny confession that feels like an exorcism. It made me cry. Not a lot of games manage that.

I'll say this till I'm blue in the face but it's genuinely very nice to play a sprawling open-world RPG that not only manages to contain its bloat (Its campaign can't run much longer than 40 hours by design) but also manages to keep its many side-quests both narratively and thematically on task.

The Blood of Dawnwalker was awesome. Surprisingly good story, nice characters with very grounded histories and motivations, some genuinely steamy romance and sex that puts anything in the Witcher games to shame. Combat is great too (just turn off the directional indicators!)

I do these every day as a warmup and tend to try to take a quick mental snapshot and then block in the body parts in roughly the same order: torso and pelvis (treated as one shape), then head and neck, then the weight bearing leg, then the other, then the arms. But the daily practice seems key in -
