Rep Nancy Mace wants the 1 sole transgender member of the incoming congress to use their own bathroom (and presumably water fountain). continuing an unbeaten streak of mean spirited bigoted acts that haven’t improved any American’s life or personal economy.

all of y’all saying how unproblematic and drama free this app is are making me nervous. it’s the equivalent of saying “hope it doesn’t get too busy today!” at work

I really thought I was skeeting and quote re-skeeting and skeetplying to y’all enough to be in a few more skirkles, but y’all are out here skeeting and reskeeting/reply-skeeting like crazy…. How am I supposed to compete with this level of skeeteraction????

i hate being disabled. i’m trying to accept that i am, but right now i’m just in a phase of being extremely angry about it.

the alternative is the people who have horrible egos and are deeply insecure. they’re usually terrible to work with and have a reputation for that no matter how good their work is, which inevitably kills it’s value

000

growth is realizing that it doesn’t matter what other people think about your work because most people who are going to judge it are people who couldn’t possibly understand the work it takes to actually follow through on and complete a project in the first place

as a film student, There Will Be Blood and the numerous essays i’ve had to write about it haunts me

000

i haven’t posted mine yet since most of it is still in the editing stage, but i plan on having some work posted by the end of december!

you know, if someone won’t hire me because i have titanium in my face then i probably don’t need to be working there anyway

010

that’s amazing that you really built this whole project from scratch with so much support from the people around you. your energy when talking about it honestly makes me excited about it too! wishing you so much luck on your creative journey moving forward 🥳🖤

Working a full-time job to support your creative side hustle is really difficult, but Homer managed to write the lliad whilst clocking in at the nuclear power plant every day. Inspirational

SCREENWRITING AXOIMS FOR A LONG CAREER: Underpromise, overdeliver. Don't turn in a 1st draft, it should be at least the 5th. Don't act emotionally to notes. Digest then respond. The studio / producers are your partners not your enemy. Your next job is determined by how you did on your last.

NO WAY?! what was that like?! god doing an interview for a passion project is such a dream. is that interview out yet or posted anywhere? i’d love to see it! it definitely can be expensive though, especially for something like that.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc
