All buttoned up! Reverse camera comes on when reversing, front camera comes on when you flip the little silver switch up. Glad to be done with this project! (for now). I'll be hooking up the speakers and a microphone as well, for radio, bluetooth, and hands-free calls. In a 37 year old truck. xD

I'm sure no one cares, but I replaced the crusty old battery terminals with new, in prep for the stereo/backup camera install. Never seen such shiny terminals on a 37 year old vehicle. xD

Advice on things to do on O‘ahu? We're taking another day trip over there, and I know nothing. Something SLIGHTLY touristy - one step above laulau from somebody's garage, but nothing like waikiki beach.

I made this door. The opening is a little wonky (an inch narrower at the top), so had to build custom. Works well, and all hardware installed. Needs the rosette in the bottom opening, and to be painted and reinstalled.

One truly crazy/maddening thing about my #adhd is that there are no routines. NOTHING becomes automatic, no matter how often I do it. Sleeping, meal times, coffee, showers, nothing. My brain just does not build or follow pre-defined scripts, at all, ever. Just made coffee, 3 hours late. :P

Porch update! 2nd full coat of varnish on the floor! It's looking pretty great! Can't wait to get out there and use the space! Still some tidy-up on the board ends and edges, a little paint touch up, build the 2 doors, build the rosettes, and screen the whole thing in.

Stop what you're doing, and go check your lug nuts. I just fixed the alignment on the truck, and that revealed that the lug nuts were so loose I could spin them by hand. o_O So glad I caught that before we drove to Hilo tonight.

Made leek & potato soup from the 4 leeks I picked last week. Nearly burned up my seldom-used blender. M'lady introduced me to the hand mixer, which would have also saved me washing said blender, and a metal bowl. Just a silly adventure from someone who never cooks anything. :P Soup is good!

Was at a market today, actually more of a garage sale. M'lady was selling her fabric crafts. There were kids there, just being kids, selling stuff they brought and made, laughing together, sharing funny stuff on their phones. This brought me joy. Good memories of when stuff wasn't so damn heavy.

Finally got our fiber internet back yesterday. Today has been spent working again. No faffing about with USB tethering. 600Mbit vs 2Mbit. Very very glad to have it back.
