It would no doubt be better in some ways. Credit cards and loans have become a crutch for too many people. Americans aren’t really taught to live within their means and to prioritize savings. We also let labor unions be destroyed & min wage hasn’t kept up with soaring expenses for basic needs.

If it passes, and that’s a big if, the most likely result will be that fewer people are approved unless they have a stellar credit rating and a higher income than the median. It could also result in fewer credit card purveyors overall. Hard to make a profit on fewer customers with lower fees overall

I can’t think of a better way to honor Jimmy Carter than donating to Habitat for Humanity. He and Rosalynn first began volunteering with the nonprofit in 1984 — 3 years after leaving the White House. They volunteered every year until 2020, eventually helping to build and repair 4,390 Habitat homes.

The House Dems need to demand a vote to decertify the 14th Amndmnt's prohibition against insurrectionists holding federal office, to enable #TheRapistTraitor to be seated, also per the 14th. Only Congress can allow him to take office. BUT THE GOP DOESN'T HAVE THE 2/3rd majority VOTES TO CARRY IT.

My dad left the turkey leftovers in one of those electric roasters until he could get it sorted. His Malamute pawed at the latch until it opened and had a lovely post-Thanksgiving feast of her own!

I cannot believe that TFG wants to end birthright citizenship, especially since he was/is? making some big bucks from Russian families that come over to have their babies born in the US. That makes them automatically Russian/US citizens. They go home with birth certificate and US passport. 🤨

We have lots of these cute little gray rabbits in our neighborhood. It’s very small and pretty rural. Fun in the spring to watch all the youngsters playing together. Had a little yearling last spring that would stretch out under the big shrub and snooze.
