Using mobility aids is wild. People assume you have a mental disability along with the physical one and act accordingly in their assumptions. I go along with it and grow my beard out all bushy, wear wrinkled shirts and park askew (but I won’t block the wheelchair lane. That sh!t pisses me off).

Penguins aren't hatched knowing how to swim. Before our two new penguin chicks returned to the Penguin Pavilion, they took "swimming lessons" with animal care staff. Check out their progress and technique as they graduated from the kiddie pool to deeper waters and finally, to the penguin pool!

Bonus dog Sissy is a sock thief. I find them under the bed, under couches, in other rooms. I just put away laundry and had a 100% sock matching experience, which is hard even without Sissy, virtually impossible with. So today is a good day.

Make Garands Great Again. The advisory ballot measure for the Idaho State gun is so on brand. Still, I’m voting for the M1 Garand and urge all who decide to vote for the measure to do the same. First, it was THE rifle that defeated fascism worldwide in WWII. So it’s a symbolic vote for a bang stick.

My teenager has a school trip to McCall this week. He was a bit of a smarty pants while we were getting him ready. He needed to borrow a light rain jacket of mine because his is too heavy. It has a spot for a patch. I decided to drop this one on it while he wasn’t looking. Hope it rains. 😈
