Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia, Keisha Lance Bottoms: I have repeatedly said that I want to expand Medicaid in Georgia. My opponent won't. 300,000 people in this state are without coverage because we didn't expand Medicaid. 600,000 have dropped insurance since the beginning of the year.

Remember that Collins voted repeatedly to fund ICE with no guardrails and in June voted against an amendment that would have required body cams. Then after the outrage over Maine dad Johan Sebastián’s death, she tried taking credit for a new body cam commitment from ICE (which it’s not honoring!)👇🏽

What a lie. Some of these people are being imprisoned indefinitely in squalid condition in African prisons. Others report being beaten and arbitrarily deported in violation of international law back to their home countries, where they face persecution or torture.
The indefinite nature of their confinement has taken a severe toll. In October 2025, a Cuban man who was on the July flight went on a hunger strike for a month-until he started showing signs of organ failure —to protest the conditions of his detention, including his ongoing confinement and lack of access to legal counsel.
Terrified of being imprisoned in Eswatini forever, another man repeatedly told his attorney that the prison there never lets people go. One man told his attorney that he feels like a caged animal with no end in sight. The prison does not have air conditioning, making the hot, humid summer months especially uncomfortable for the men.
Food is insufficient, medication is scarce, and requests often go unmet or are belatedly met.

Screenshot of an X post from the verified “Senate Republicans” account, @SenateGOP. The post reads: “Democrat socialists love to promise free stuff. But they never mention who pays for it.” Beneath the post is an X Community Note labeled “Readers added context.” The note states: “President Donald Trump has proposed several direct cash payouts and rebates funded by tariffs or budget cuts. None were provided.” It lists links from WBAL-TV, ABC7 Chicago, YouTube, and The New York Times as sources.
