There was a time when the Tories, however hypocritically, claimed to want to protect our natural heritage. Now they're just a party of vandals, ripping down the few protections the living world has for the sake of their rich chums. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Farage, a man who was doing Cameo videos for £70 a pop as late as March 2026, apparently turned up to a meeting to discuss a half-million donation and "wasn't really listening". What utter contempt he has for the very democracy, country, and people that he claims to love.

"Counter terror won’t let him on stage yet” a senior Reform figure says, explaining the delay in Nigel Farage’s speech at the Reform UK conference.20:08 4 September

Jack Fenwick
Political correspondent

West Midlands Police say the decision to delay Nigel Farage's conference speech "was made by Reform UK".

A senior Reform figure earlier told the BBC that Farage's speech was delayed because "counter terror won't let him on stage yet".

But West Midlands Police say: "We can confirm that Counter Terrorism Policing have had no involvement in the delivery of the Reform UK Party Conference 2026."
