oldie but goodie. dipper and mabel (adults) go for a drive and have a movies argument

the comic starts off with dipper in the passenger's seat of a car, saying "It's a movie about a much older man kidnapping and extorting an underage girl, then trying to seduce her, and it's supposed to be like, a whimsical fantasy? It's weird."
in the next panel, we see that mabel is driving, and rolling her eyes as she retorts "Oh my GOD, Dipper, you cannot possibly reduce it to that and expect anyone to take you seriously. This is the Beauty and the Beast thing all over again." dipper shrugs and says "I'm not saying it's not like, a masterpiece of puppetry and set design, I'm just saying it's weird!"

smugly, mabel continues "If you want my opinion-" (a tired-looking dipper cuts in with "I don't, I know your opinion") "which is the CORRECT one, btw" mabel continues, "it's obviously a movie about a teenager learning she can grow up without fully letting go of childhood, but also coming into her own as a young woman, both responsibly and sexually."
in the next panel mabel leans over to shove into dipper, while dipper looks away angrily. mabel says "and your argument doesn't hold up either way because Sarah DOESN'T choose Jareth in the end! Their relationship is supposed to be an unhealthy fantasy!"

dipper rolls his eyes and says dismissively "The ballroom scene begs to differ. So does the fact that to this day people still see it as a romantic movie." quieter, he adds "including you." mabel gestures at him and retorts "Key word 'fantasy', Dipper. You can't meaningfully deny your temptations without indulging in them first. Also judging something by the way fans interpret it is dishonest. I still remember your Fight Club phase."

in the next panel, dipper, annoyed, fires back "Fight Club is a rite of passage for gay teenage boys!" mabel, amused, interjects with "you're bi???????" before dipper continues "And don't talk to me about denying your temptations. You act like this exact scenario hasn't happened to YOU before."
next panel mabel looks a little sheepish and argues "Aww c'mon, that was like, six years ago! This time around I would totally save you! I've matured!", referencing something that would have happened in their teenage years.
dipper side-eyes his sister and says "no you haven't". mabel's expression turns a little proud as she agrees "no I haven't yeah you're right".

mabel has a big grin on her face as she grips the wheel, shoulders hunched and with a wicked gleam in her eye. she says "You'd be goblin food a hundred years before you could pull me away from Bowie's lower extremities." dipper, gritting his teeth and tugging at mabel's jacket, shouts "MABEL, SHUT UP, PLEASE". mabel continues "I'd collect his glittery sweat in a jar and chug like it was the elixir of life." to this dipper says "Give me the steering wheel, I'm going to crash this car and kill us both."
