iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I kinda stopped posting anything on social media over a year ago and while it's probably better for my mental health and screen time that way, I do wanna have at least a small presence somewhere to post art so I'm trying to revive this account

Raise your hand if you're a fan of bright red artworks, tieflings, space and stuff, or eldritch horrors beyond your comprehension #art #ocart

Illustration of a blue tiefling in a cosmic scene. A glowing red black hole is behind him. The right side of his body is shifting and flowing into an undefined shape, dozens of eyes popping out from it.

small #wip recreation of a painting I did 9 years ago back in college

a sketch on a small canvas of a woman with a wide-eyed, terrified expression holding a fox mask near her face

a half-body painting of a woman holding a realistic fox mask next to her face with a scared but somewhat blank expression on her face

currently sick as a dog and trying to crochet granny squares for the first time… it’s not going great

an extremely lumpy crocheted square meant to look like it has a flower in the middle. the yarn colors are bright blue, olive green, and mint green, and don’t go together very well.

another attempt at a different crochet square with a flower motif in the center. this one is more square, but the center sticks up like a bubble a full inch above the rest of the design.

A study of J. C. Leyendecker's "Man and Woman Dancing" featuring Lucanis and Chiara My part of an art collab with snarkspawn (tumblr) 🫶 #art | #dragonage | #lucanisdellamorte

A study of J. C. Leyendecker's "Man and Woman Dancing" featuring Chiara and Lucanis. Chiara has her back turned to us, her expression is sultry, a small smirk escaping her lips. She's wearing a light blue silky dress with sheer sleeves falling over her shoulders, pearl necklace and silver bracelets and (engagement??) ring. Her hair is blue, held in an updo. Lucanis is wearing a traditional black tuxedo that is fully blended with the black background, one hand on the small of her back, the other in front. They are dancing.

an Entonia Rosemary sketch for February's #EndangArt "un-charismatic" - I feel like plants are often overlooked when talking about endangered species. I'd never even heard of this one despite growing up near its home in Florida!

a draw of entonia rosmary, also called "false rosemary" because the leaves look very similar to the herb. there are two purple flowers sprouting from the plant.

“every piece of art you make is a collection of a thousand failures … inside that canvas is every time you have ever failed … every piece of art is a celebration of every time you have ever failed. that’s what art is, a celebration of failure.”

#burnoutproject February - #Resonance My OC Kira with the lyrics to "Blue Blades" by Lily & Madeleine [ #art #digitalart #artyear ]

there are two halves to the drawing. the top half is blue and features the dark silhouette of a woman, and behind her are two hands holding a bird with its wing stretched out. the bottom half is red and the silhouette of a woman is streaky, like a reflection in water. behind her is only one hand holding a bird that is limp, as if dead. over the whole image are the lyrics "blue bird's body lies and no one's morning, nothing in his eyes his feathers blowing, the cold air stings and with it comes a warning, the wind drips through the night and kills the morning"

I think I started this about 2 years ago and have only just finished it... here's line up of (almost) all my OCs! [ #art #OCart #characterdesign #artyear ]

5 characters in a row. The first is "The One," a very large floating androgynous figure with flowing red hair and a blue coat. They have three arms and there is a glitch effect surrounding them. The second is "Kira," a short pale woman with short blue hair and a prosthetic left arm. She is wearing simple athletic clothing. The third is "Samira," a tall black woman with braided hair. She has gold rings throughout her hair, on her arm, and hand. The fourth is "Ava," a chubby woman with brown skin and a hooked nose. She wears an outfit based on a Sari and holds a rose. The last is "Niels," a tall white man with tattered clothes and tattoos like octopus arms wrapping around his shoulders.

A drawn lineup of 7 people. The first is "Vasha," a black woman with natural curly hair and a dark birthmark over her right cheek. She sands with her hands folded and legs partially crossed, as if she's a bit uncomfortable to be there. Next is "Caliso," a southeast Asian woman with shaggy brown hair. Third is "Leyla," who has her hand resting on Caliso's shoulder. Leyla is a tall, brown-skinned woman with pink braids. She is earing an outfit of gold, pink, and gray. Fourth is "Joelle," a grumpy man with crossed arms. He has shaggy black hair with red tips that hang down to his collar bones. He wears a black coat with a sash and a large gold sun like a pin on his chest. Fifth is "Colette," a woman with extremely pale skin and white hair. The bottom of her dress is tattered and she is not wearing shoes. Her outfit is based on a kimono, but the top is crossed right-over-left, a style reserved for the dead. Next to last is "Kit," a short nonbinary teenager. They stand with their arms slightly raised but wrists limp, sometimes referred to as 'raptor hands.' They are wearing mismatched socks. Behind them is the last figure, a part-human-part-animal named "Roach." He has a human torso, lion-like legs, shaggy blond hair covering his eyes, visible canine teeth, and small horns on his head.

This is an uncropped version of the artwork that includes both of the previous images in one long picture. It is otherwise identical to the previous two images.

to date this is my only attempt to draw all of my OCs in one scene. I'm not even ashamed to say I traced over parts of the ref I made to get the poses down because adding all the hair and clothing details alone took hours. #ocart #digitalart

four different stock photos edited together to form a scene of a large group of people arguing or looking upset around a long table

a drawn version of the previous edited photo

a more complete but still unfinished drawing based on the original edited photo. 11 people arguing or looking upset, ashamed, or angry, all gathered around a long table with partially eaten food.

Choose 20 paintings that have stayed with you or influenced you — one painting per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just paintings. #blueskyart #art #painting Day 1 Ad astra (To the Stars) by Akseli Gallen-Kallela

a painting of a nude woman with her arms outstretched and her hair flowing around her. the painting has an unusual window-like shape with two flaps on each side that look as if they could close over the painting.

an up close shot of the nude woman. there is a bright gold sun behind her, and she is standing in a sea of red liquid that almost looks like blood.

It may be chilly and snowy outside, but I just finished my quilt "the memory of spring". What do you think? It is 17.5 by 60 inches, machine pieced and quilted in my own variation of quilt as you go. An original design. #craftcouncil #FebruArty #artsky #women'sart #fiberart #landscape #artquilt

The memory of spring is an original art quilt that captures sunrise over the greening landscape. It is created by the artist one strip at a time and then machine quilted. #quiltsky #landscape #springart #paradisecityartsfestival
