We’re wrapping up our #folklore and mythology theme with Séamus Murphy’s ‘Deirdre (of the Sorrows)’. Please note this post briefly mentions self-harm in the context of ancient legends. Deirdre is a significant, tragic figure in #Irishlegends, and has found comparison to Helen of Troy.
A bronze statue of a woman from the neck up; her neck is laid down to the side, as if she was sleeping, and her eyes are closed, her mouth slightly open. There are muscles straining in her neck, hinting towards her not being sleeping at all; and she has long hair that is wavy and falls over one shoulder. The statue is seen in front of a black background. The same statue, but seen in front of a white background, lending depth to some of the details of the statue and showing more of the texture.

Aren't the agreements with Paris and Palermo reciprocal though, with the latter being described as 'indefinite'? The London situation seems, on the contrary, to be deliberately obfuscated by both the BM and Westminster, undermining any sense of direction or trust on which agreement can be based.
