I have a whole mharcred thing in my head where Thancred’s mentor tried to give him a ring to propose to Mharwyb but Thancred refused so his mentor set up the little puzzle quest for Mharwyb, and gave her the ring at the end. So whenever I put it on a Mharwyb glam Thancred has to look at it.

I don’t think Fourchenault was necessarily directly involved as an ambassador but it is remarkable to me that Sharlayan tried to strike a deal with Garlemald, presumably attempting to offer them resources, which failed and led to the exodus. The beautiful neutral nation of sharlayan.

why do thancred fans and twin fans have such overlap. the characters seem neutral to positive towards one another at best. he’s an incredibly different archetype than they are. they are full of joy and hope. he is not.

it’s always thancred’s mom was a sex worker or thancred’s mom was a teen mom but did we ever stop and ask ourselves if thancred’s mom simply thought he had bad vibes. maybe she glimpsed into his future and was like this guy seems like he’s kind of a burden on specifically the women in his life.
