Some engineers say “No,” and mean “No, we can’t.” Some engineers say “No,” and mean “No, but now I will think about it a lot.” The latter sometimes change to Yes delightfully unexpectedly.

What's funny is you can tell exactly why it output this string. When it stole literally all of Stack Overflow, it stole tons and tons of people's explanations of how to make a program that produces random character strings. One of the easiest ways to do so, contains *this* ASCII string.

GitHub Actions charging per build minute for *self-hosted-runners*? Shit's about to hit the fan lol
You are receiving this email because your usage of GitHub Actions may be impacted by upcoming changes to GitHub Actions pricing.

What’s changing, when

On January 1, 2026, all customers will receive up to a 39% reduction in the net price of GitHub-hosted runners, depending on the machine type used.
On March 1, 2026, we are introducing a new $0.002 per-minute GitHub Actions cloud platform charge that will apply to self-hosted runner usage. Any usage subject to this charge will count toward the minutes included in your plan.
No action is required on your part.

Wavefunction Collapse xkcd.com/3134/
4-panel Comic. (1) STUDENT: If the wavefunction only collapses when I observe it, does that mean my consciousness affects the universe? (2) [Bad:] PROFESSOR: Yes, quantum entanglement proves that we all have souls. (3) [Good:] PROFESSOR: No, consciousness plays no role here. It’s just physical measurement. (4) [Chaotic:] PROFESSOR: No. The wavefunction collapses when *I* look at it because I’m a full professor. It won’t collapse for an undergraduate.
