Agreed, but we also have to be conscious of what they can (and more importantly, can’t) do. They could impeach them every day of the week, but getting enough votes in the Senate to convict and remove will be extremely difficult. No blaming Dems if the impeachment succeeds but conviction fails.

It really depends on what the Houthis do from here. So far, they’re largely only targeting Saudi shipments, which is bad enough. My concern is that the next time the US and Iran start bombing, Iran will activate them to close the strait. If that happens, oil will skyrocket. $200 is possible.

I’ve seen that theory, and the way he warns about it happening is nightmare fuel. Johnson is no longer Speaker at noon on January 3. The House Clerk prepares the roll prior to Congress losing their jobs. The theory is that they could simply leave Dems off. It wouldn’t work, but it would be chaos.
