After all the recent weeks of pain I've been through, it's just impossible for me to focus on work. I need several days off. One of which I want to spend installing Windows 95 on old hardware and torturing it with running software it was never meant to run in the first place.

On that note, don't get rid of ANY PC now. No more e-waste! Even mediocre machines will be valuable treasures in several years.

My hope is that indie devs will keep producing for current gen PCs out of love and passion and those of us who continue to value them will never be left without things to enjoy. Soon all PC hobbies will be retro PC hobbies, but that's still a fun space to be in.

At this point, most of the volatility is relative to the dollar due to how volatile the dollar is! And there are layer 2 networks such as Lightning which have nearly instantaneous settlement. It's solid tech, once you understand it. I don't think it's the bogeyman it's often made out to be.

I know furries don't like to hear this, but Bitcoin (specifically, and only Bitcoin, not some other scam cryptocurrency) is censorship resistant and can be used as protest money. You cannot be debanked from Bitcoin either.
