Our new polling finds that Americans have significantly reduced their participation in social activities over the last 30 years. There have been double-digit declines in Americans entertaining people in their homes, going to club meetings, and doing volunteer work since 1995.

I went on the BBC to provide some updates and context on Ethiopia's new war and how it broke out in the first place. As I pointed out here, yesterday bank accounts opened in Tigray were collectively frozen, which prevents millions from accessing funds. The situation is becoming increasingly dire.

Within a span of 10mins I’ve seen a post from a writer whose IG pictures were AI edited and used on a Chase ad without her consent (she was asking what recourse she has w/ Meta+Chase). And this. In the 1st case, within the TOS; in the 2nd case, not. We’re in murky waters, and regulators are napping.

As a former HoloLens person, I’ve been v curious about Meta’s roadmap in the category. Going audio only? What’s the differentiated experience that’s so much better than…having AirPods (+ AI)? ~60% of the U.S pop wears prescriptions. I can see the “smarter prescription” value prop working.
