I’ve done it again. I’ve written a short follow-up to my *scathing take-down* of the film and tv industry /s The Film and TV Charity has just released their survey for the 2026 Looking Glass Report and I STRONGLY urge film and tv workers to fill it out.

Does anyone know what came first: the idea of the witch as an evil woman in league with the devil, or the use of the word witch in pagan circles to describe a pagan/similarly religious woman? Thanks in advance x #curious #witch

So excited to share I’ve been selected as part of the @unwomen.bsky.social UK’s group to virtually attend this year’s United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. I am truly astonished that I did not know that either this commission or the organisation of UN Women existed.
Text reads “I’m in! Are you? This international Women’s Month, I’m joining UN Women UK as a participant at CSW69. Now is the time to stand against the pushback on gender equality and women’s rights. This is our moment - let’s take action!”
Accompanying the text is a photo of Merryn Rae wearing a white shirt stood at a high desk. She’s working on their iPad which shows her work. She wears glasses, has short ginger hair and looks focussed.
