1: After exposure. 2: After final rinse. This is quite underexposed and needed much longer under the UV light. Nailing exposure is 1/2 experience and 1/2 magic, especially with natural materials. At least paper has two sides 🤷🏼‍♀️ #cyanotype

Filter paper is difficult but the results are almost worth the heartbreak. Sturdy when dry, but wet? Try to rinse out coffee grounds without ripping the filter 🫠 1st image: white mulberry seedling; 2nd: red mulberry, white mulberry, black mulberry…or another white mulberry? #cyanotype #mulberry

Walking in the back garden, I spotted two nearly-perfect wings glinting in the sun. They were a bit curled and I didn’t want to break them for perfect paper contact, but really love the softer lines where they bent up towards the light. #cyanotype #dragonfly #wings

She was a fairy 🧚 ✨✨ Found a perfect dragonfly that passed away (hopefully peacefully) on an iris leaf in my front garden. Couldn’t lay it flat on the paper and didn’t want to squish the delicate body, but I love the dreamy, soft edges. RIP little garden fairy 🪦 #cyanotype #dragonfly
