To the left is a scene from our vtm campaign whhen he was stuck in a nightmare. His bf is dead at his feet. Around him, broken reflections show all the people who have died because of him. In a shattered mirror he sees himself, but as the monster he has turned into, in a pool of blood, glowing eyes and long bloodied claws.

To the right is Ellair in anguish, blood dripping down his mouth, hands over his face and over his heart, as two long-fingered hands with claws are coming from above, trying to get to him.

The two covers I made for my books "Far From Miklagardr" and "Far From Eikfell". In the first one two men are holding two fingers, hesitantely, in front of the northern lights. In the second one, they are now fully holding hands, back against each other, in front of the sea. Far away is a viking ship.

Sadly just a very true fact of life that you cannot out-exercise a bad diet or calorie intake. I wish it was possible but it just isn't. You gotta limit your calorie intake, look at your nutrients and exercise altogether. As somebody who sat on the verging-fat line for awhile: never again.

I don't know whether to take this as an omen or slip-up because a lot of the other new quests/additions so far have felt incredibly seamless and made with genuine thought to the conclusion. This one feels like such a weird outlier in that sense. Sometimes the point is not getting a conclusion.

Honestly a good example of In-Character Knowledge vs Out-of-Character knowledge. You the Video Gamer know this information but your Character and the Other NPCs are still getting up to speed with the fact Varian is dragon-napped and not just uhh... on a long-term holiday.

A big part of my interest in WoW Forever is that I believe that Retail's lore is just pointless to care about now. The lore and worldbuilding for the things I'm even remotely interested in with WoW are basically just toxic sludge. I need a vaguely fresh narrative restart divorced from the baggage.

Darkly I think its because it looks like Forever at least has a "Dictator" at the top of the chain signing off on a lot of the big decisions. Retail does not feel like it has this. It feels like it has the Veilguard team just all writing their bullshit and praying nobody cares for the contradiction.

My entirely unprovable take is that a lot of the "senior" retail devs, being classic andies, are also just kind of playing Classic/Forever more than they play Retail and the general vibe at the office is stuck between Classic Andies and Legends and Lattes AO3 Fanficers.

Going to be unavoidable in RP I think but I do agree. Death Knights, Warlocks and Void Users already fill the "I am a malicious knight of profane forces" vibe so I don't really understand the point in giving that vibe to the 1x Holy Class in the game that has a really strict identity.
