Her socials will be preserved, not deleted, in the best way I possibly can. There will be a Memorial Planet in her honor on NMS, and an all day Charity event likely for the EDS Society on 10/26/26. MeriLizzie was beloved by many and we miss her dearly. I hope these things grant some closure.

Have hated Cigna for 24yrs. Since the birth of our youngest child when Cigna went OON (out of network) w/the ONLY TWO HOSPITALS in our town the MONTH they were born. The next nearest, covered, hospital was over an hour away, w/no family here & Husbeast trying to find someone to watch our nearly 5yo.

I had a virtual therapist until this year. Cigna does not support it, but the BCBS we had for the previous 5yrs did. Those 5yrs of BCBS got me healthy enough to start streaming again. I’ll be damned if I’ll let Cigna ruin it!!

Agreed. It has taken decades for me to find the right doctors. Just been difficult to find a local therapist, who specializes in pain management, most don’t call back when they learn I minored in psychology… 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus small town IA. I don’t have the hands to drive over an hr to the UofI.

Yea, trazadone did that to me! Wasn’t worth the grogginess! My ADHD meds help me stay awake & actually get things done. Wish this EDS super fast metabolism (especially for meds!) wasn’t so efficient. Dental work is a nightmare. Thankfully I have a great dentist who has done her research on EDS!!

Yea. We’re having issues because my husband works from home in IA, for a company in TX, owned by a company in PA. Last time this happened, ‘22-‘23, he had to threaten all 3 states w/going to state insurance board. They’ve denied my oxy PA 5x this year. The same dose I’ve been on for over 2 decades.

It would go ~ stage 1 -> stage 2 -> stage 3 -> back to stage 1 ~ even back to stage 2 sometimes, or would even reboot after stage 2, Bach to stage 1. My resting point is “always tired”. They don’t know if it was the drugs/alcohol my birth parents did, or the #EDS #EhlersDanlosSyndrome

However, insomnia, pain, & my spaztastic bladder do not allow me that much. Some nights I wake every hr to pee. Most often I get 2-4hrs at a time. I also get very little deep sleep. They said at 1 of my 5 sleep studies that it was like my brain kept rebooting.

Husbeast has Ambien (sp?). I have to choose, sleep? Or pain? I can’t have ambient because of my pain meds. I also have a sleep disorder called “delayed REM”. Means it takes me longer to reach REM (some nights more than 6hrs) so I need 10-12 hrs of sleep.

They keep saying I must have my states Part B since I’m on SSDI. I keep telling them I was denied, twice now, for Part B, because I’m married to someone with health insurance. 🙄

I’ve been fighting my husband’s employer insurance all year. Cigna. They refuse to pay for my dr appointments, change my meds (that I was fine on… 1 being my “food pills”. They changed it from a med that was 2 capsules per meal to one that was 6 capsules per meal. That’s anytime I eat anything.

It's BS - they found 117 registered names that they couldnt find citizenship proof for. They didnt find a single vote cast by a non-citizen. The 117 will most likely be be names of deceased voters, errors, or tribal citizens who have their own paperwork.

Same for those on SSDI early, get this, for genetic reasons. I was born with a progressive & degenerative condition. I’m 51 & have already had 3 joints replaced & waiting on a fourth while my shoulder is bone on bone & extremely painful.
