For anyone to whom I owe work, including coauthors, editors, etc: I have been having relationship problems for a while and now my daughter is being wrongfully retained in a country that has a horrible track record of returning abducted children.

Help: I remember seeing a study here that debunked the common claim that US internal migration is falling over time. Anyone remember the reference?

In a few months I'll be sending out a survey to about 3000 development studies profs around the world. If anyone is interested in chatting about possibly tacking on a question (maybe a prediction about an empirical result you're working on), I'd be happy to talk. DM me.

This is how you can split a plot into multiple subplots using #tidyplots 🚀 #rstats #dataviz #phd

gene_expression |>
head(n = 180) |>
tidyplot(x = group, y = expression, color = group) |>
add_mean_bar(alpha = 0.3) |>
add_sem_errorbar() |>
add_data_points_beeswarm(white_border = TRUE) |>
adjust_size(width = 25, height = 25) |>
split_plot(by = external_gene_name, ncol = 3, nrow = 3)
