I did not know that HOAs exist until recently. Wild. We don't have them in Canada. It was one of the small differences that matter to how we experience our lives, communities and neighbours.

I am thankful I live in Canada, and very thankful my kids can grow up here. I am grateful that every day I can work to make it better, and that I have the freedom to express my disdain for those who seek to destroy it and to inflict misery on the world. Enjoy this glorious autumn long week-end.

Tuesday will be a sad day for Ontario. Ford's government is taking us backwards, spending millions taking away bike lanes in Toronto when people across Ontario desperately need money for hospitals, housing, schools and infrastructure.

The policy options Canada is considering are too tied to a world that no longer exists. Nationalization should of course be on the table. “The steel workers in Hamilton are thus not collateral damage in the trade war; they are the target.” www.theglobeandmail.com/business/com...

Opinion: The steel jobs may never come back. Ottawa should consider nationalizing Stelco
All ideas should be on the table to protect jobs as steel workers are caught in the middle of trade tensions with the U.S.

Correct. "Our opponents are not our enemies, they are our neighbours," has mostly been true in democracies for decades. But when your opponents change and now want you dead, well, they are your enemies.
